The v11n that John refers to is that of the Russian Synodal Bible. This is not specifically a Protestant translation per se. It is a Russian non-Church Slavonic translation of the Bible commonly used by the Russian Orthodox Church, Russian Baptists and other Protestant, as well as Roman Catholic communes. Even so, it is true that most of the Bibles for Central Asian languages follow the v11n for the RSB, as do many other translations for Eastern and Central Europe, especially those languages that use the Cyrillic script. In an earlier thread, Osk indicated that this v11n would not be included in SWORD 1.6.0, and another thread seems to indicate that it will be implemented in 1.6.1. Speaking up with John for our brethren in Central Asia, "the sooner the better", providing it's stable, of course. -- David -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/SWORD-1.6.x-v11n-tp23484276p23500190.html Sent from the SWORD Dev mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ sword-devel mailing list: [email protected] http://www.crosswire.org/mailman/listinfo/sword-devel Instructions to unsubscribe/change your settings at above page
