I finally came round to check this out to see where these errors would come from. If you used the "old method", yes, it will generate errors. The old method is no longer supported, and is supposed to go out. It is going to be replaced with the new method, now renamed to "recommended transformation". With the new method the resulting osis file validates fine (apart from one error caused by a mistake in the usfm files).
