I would agree with David. With the advent of more and more mobile devices and the ability to use Crosswire software everywhere I think it would be nice to have a universal system to save and (potentially) share bookmarks and annotations
To do this on the long run without ending up in trouble we should not go down a route of building on a closed source implementation (as Opera is).
