Hi gang, I was recently given a Chinese locale for SWORD with the books of the Bible in Simplified Chinese. Currently we only have Traditional Chinese in SVN (actually, the current one is zh_TW-utf8.conf, meaning it's for Taiwan, but it's simply a Traditional Chinese translation) but Simplified Chinese is actually the official Chinese (as in "China") writing. Anyway, enough boring you about Simplified vs Traditional, I've attached a Simplified Chinese locale (named zh_CN-utf8.conf, meaning it's for China, but . . .) that can be used by other front-ends&/or thrown into SVN. :)
I've committed the zh_CN locale and mirrored it and the zh_TW locale to new files zh_Hans and zh_Hant, which use the correct locale naming convention.
Thanks, ybic nic... :) ps: at what stage do we want to start updating these to include apocryphal books? I only just thought of this, after I got the Simplified locale...........!
There's nothing stopping adding them now, and the sooner they are added, the better.
