"Anywhere else" means any ordinary Firefox text entry box. FB's text
entry boxes are decidedly not ordinary, by any definition. They are
hyper-controlled by an assortment of vile javascript and neither I nor
anyone else can vouch for what it does.
It's a Facebook bug, misinteracting with however Win32 delivers
^C-copied content, period. It is not a Xiphos bug in any manner.
