Chris,

Do you know of a free Windows Unicode font that supports Gothic?

The only one listed in http://crosswire.org/wiki/Fonts
is ALPHABETUM (limited trial font which is missing glyphs, €15 to purchase
full font) -- a good font for a number of ancient languages such as Gothic,
Old Church Slavonic (incl. Glagolitic), Ugaritic, & Phoenician.

I just installed the free demo, so I can at least make the language name
display in some Windows apps.

It looks like Ubuntu employs Code2001 to display Gothic. The best source for Code200* these days appears to be the Wayback Machine: http://web.archive.org/web/20110108105420/http://code2000.net/
