All searches should be case insensitive, shouldn’t they? After all a word can begin a sentence.
And as noted elsewhere in the thread by you, once we have robust rendering for the inscription element and all the major frontends are using it, then we might make the change. We did it this way for the <divineName> element. At first for the KJV the content was LORD. Later it was changed to Lord with small-caps applied.
