There are SWORD tests. I don't run them in Fedora at present. They are, however, part of the release pipeline and are executed on the CrossWire server before being sent. I should execute them in the Fedora build. I believe, if you're executing with CMake, you can just run "make tests". But it's been a hot minute since I was in that part of the code base, so I could be wrong.
Patching back to 3.5.2 is fine - the only reason it's set to 3.7.0 that I'm aware if that's the oldest version I had available at the time and didn't want to over promise and under deliver.
