When I first started reading this, I thought this was to be the recently announced new NPR morning drive program targeting the same demographic. Part of the new Sirius two year agreement with NPR was to make this new program available to Sirius subscribers. Now after reading the entire article, I'm not so sure. Perhaps PRI has run this announcement out to preempt and compete with NPR's effort? PRI content is now heard mostly on XM; so will this program go there too?
A bit confusing and, if this is indeed a competing effort, is that the best thing for public radio in the US? (Just posing a question.)
