Wandering the web between the holidays, I came across a mention of Willis Conover - longtime VOA jazz program host and global jazz emissary - at the US's embassy site in Georgia.
As of October, 2007 the VOA has made Conover's programming available to Tblisi's Radio Syndicate 104.3. Interesting to see that Conover's legacy lives on; kudos to the VOA for recognizing the role of Conover in establish global dialogue.
