Alan Johnston (with a 'T', mind you), the BBC journalist kidnapped in
Gaza last year, will be returning to the airwaves hosting the World
Service edition of "From Our Own Correspondent".

This represents a change in approach for the WS edition of FOOC -- it
has not recently had a steady, marquee host -- unlike the Radio 4
version, which has had Kate Adie for years.

This coming weekend marks Johnston's debut with the program.
