Greetings.
Just a quick heads up on a programme of interest: "Border Blasters:
In Search of the Wolf". TX BBC Radio 4, last Saturday, 22nd March:
Nick Barraclough tells the story of the first pirate radio stations
that sprung up across the Río Grande in Mexico in the 1950s and
pave the way that the extraordinary career of maverick DJ and wild
man, Wolfman Jack.
Here's a link to the page on the BBC News website, which itself
contains some of the links for audio and other material connected
to this two-part programme, which is some thing of a follow-up to
the one done on the good doctor Brinkley in 2006.

And here's a link to the Listen Again -- the programme will be

as a Listen Again for the next six days.
