Syndication of BBC World TV newscasts has shifted from WLIW in NY to KCET in Los Angeles. I recently was pleased to see Maryland Public TV again carrying the newscast at 5:30 PM local time. They had dropped it for a long time. The video quality is excellent. Someplace (maybe at MPT) they are upconverting the image to 1080i high definition. I have yet to figure out when the newscast is originally transmitted from the UK.
