Transformation de Radio Canada International
Radio Canada International (RCI) met fin ` la transmission par ondes courtes et
par satellite et concentrera donc sa diffusion sur le web.
Il n'y aura plus de bulletins de nouvelles et les sections russe et brisilienne
seront fermies. Ainsi, RCI se concentrera sur les cinq langues les plus parlies
par son auditoire : frangais, anglais, espagnol, arabe et mandarin.
+ RCI poursuivra sur le web sa mission de faire rayonner ` l'itranger les
valeurs dimocratiques canadiennes ;, a diclari Hubert T. Lacroix.
Cette transformation de RCI devrait permettre d'iconomiser 10 millions de
dollars.
