This may be widely known information already, but perhaps it bears reiteration.

At my two locations in NY and FL, the summer SW schedule season has yielded
better reception at ECNA locations from the BBC World Service and VOA English,
although quite time limited.

BBC World Service is being heard daily at near armchair level via the
Woofferton UK transmitter site between 0000 and 0100 (UTC) on 7300 kHz.
Programming, targeted to South Asia, consists of a daily edition of the
excellent Business Matters on Tuesdays through Saturdays (UTC) with The World
This Week and Global Business or In the Balance on Sundays and Business Matters
followed by Science in Action on Mondays. The only potential fly in the
ointment here is occasional QRM from the WHRI transmitter on 7315 kHz.
Normally this separation should be sufficient to avoid interference but proper
maintenance of this South Carolina transmitter appears to be an issue at times.

VOA English to Africa is being heard daily, again at armchair level, between
1700 and 1830 (UTC) on 17530 kHz via Greenville, NC. Sundays and Saturdays
bring Issues in the News, Press Conference USA and Nightline Africa. Mondays
through Fridays, there’s International Edition at 1700 and Africa World Tonight
at 1800. In between at 1730, there’s a feature program: Let’s Talk (M),
Health Chat (T), Up Front (W), Reporter’s Roundtable (Th), Sonny Side of Sports
(F).
