Yes that's the correct setting. This setting comes since eclipse 3.5. SWTBot managed this in earlier versions of eclipse.
Perhaps it should not even be visible to the user. Thanks for bringing it up.
I'd recommend keeping not touching that setting if you want your tests to work ;)
