The SWTBot bundle that causes complexity is
org.eclipse.swtbot.junit_4.x, which has several versions of the same
class according on the version of JUnit: 4.3 or 4.5. If I understand
correctly, the issue with jdt.junit is the one that causes trouble when
moving from JUnit 3.8 to JUnit 4.x (See [1]). This is not a blocking
point for choosing definitely a version of JUnit 4 in SWTBot. Are we speaking about the same issue with jdt.junit? If no, could you provide me some more documentation on this topic? By the way a started a Git branch for my experiences with SWTBot (inverting dependencies to avoid these headaches with JUnit and Eclipse versions, and start building with Tycho). It is available at [2], but since I am not at all familiar nor easy with Git, and since I want to change everything in the same time, it may be a little messy... But feel free to comment it if you have time.
