OK, they setup JDK 8 for SWTBot HIPP, and the job is green (in the gerrit job we now use JDK 8) :)
As I said, using Neon target platform does not require further changes to SWTBot code base and tests. In https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/63146/ I enabled neon target platform by default in the parent pom, and I also updated the Oomph setup so that the Target Platform for the workspace is Neon.
