Hi all,
I would like to resign as the position of Project Lead for SWTBot.
Indeed, I'm currently involved in other projects that require me a lot
of time and attention, and I'm becoming less and less able to follow the
velocity of SWTBot and to take care of its frequent releases. Let's say
there are big chances that I become a bottleneck for SWTBot and I wish
something better for the project.
Fortunately, Patrick has shown very good project lead skills in the last
months: taking care of the releases, inclusion in SimRel, animating the
team and discussions. So I trust that he can be a good single project
lead. I talked with him about it earlier, and he agrees with my
resignation, and has also expressed some confidence in dealing with
project leadership properly alone.
I will remain a "regular" committer until I actually stop contributing
anything for a while and I'll stay in touch and keep on receiving
Bugzilla, Gerrit and mailing-list notifications for some time.
