I'm not sure if everyone is aware of this, but I'm planning on making
a proposal to move SWTBot to eclipse.org, the draft version of the
proposal is available at http://wiki.eclipse.org/SWTBot/Proposal. If
you wish to express your support, please add yourself to the
interested parties section (Is there a reason not to ?)

So what does this mean to you as a SWTBot user or developer?
For one, it means that SWTBot becomes part of the eclipse ecosystem.
It gets to work better with the eclipse community, keeping up to date
with newer eclipse versions would be easier.

I'm writing in to the list, to see the general opinion about the
proposal.

Any comments, feedback or brickbats about the proposal are welcome.
