Is to possible to access the UI of SWT and RCP applications by instrumenting 
SWT?

If this works, the tests could run not just in a separate thread but in a 
separate VM. SWT and RCP tests could then be simple JUnit tests and no modified 
JUnit Plug-in Tests. A PDE Build would not be required for creating testing 
plugins and merging them witht the application under test.

It could make things a bit easier on the tooling side. What do you think? I am 
not sure if I asked this.
