The work with the recorder was never completed.

It was a proof-of-concept to see if this was even possible. I do work on 
it once a while. That said feel free to checkout the code and file patches.

Patches makes the world a better place :)

On another note, please use the forums on eclipse.org, and not this 
list, most people have switched to using the new forums, and I'm trying 
to reduce the administrative of managing both.
