I have some thoughts and want to stir the pot regarding the native sycamore
city map. There is a good chance I have missed earlier discussion to why a new
sycamore install comes with the applet for davis, CA.

working with rotten yesterday, trianglewiki.org, is now onboard with rotten's
address macro. I had looked at Philip's java applet and flirted with the idea
of using it for the Raleigh-Durham, NC Area, but I was overwhelmed with the
idea of pulling it off... and was it visually possible? ah?

I am onboard with using sycamore for the long haul and would like to continue
to see it's growth with other cities. It's pretty wicked to see new cities
added to the project sycamore wiki.

So, should we take a closer look at the need for a address/map macro and move
towards a scalable solution that would allow any city, regardless of size, to
use sycamore for a city wiki.

I am guessing one reason things haven't happen yet is due to programming time
and contributions - so I am guilty in that area, since I haven't done shit. I
am not complaining, but trying to be a proactive user of sycamore.

Many thanks to Philip, Rotten, Adam and Far for helping me out with
trianglewiki.
