yo far, nice work man. I can't wait to use your tag macro for trianglewiki I noticed on your site you are asking some questions -
Check out these links http://it.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=07/01/15/136219 http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=07/01/20/145237 I would be interested in tweaking a tag cloud to look much like the "wanted pages" - where you have a html table full of tags that are related. The more popular the tag, the larger the font. I have seen this idea on almost every major web site. It's appealing to look at, but it might be over rated ;-) >From my point of view, Tags for sycamore is about the categorization of a wiki. Providing another source to find out more about an interesting topic. If I was looking at a wiki page about a scuba gear store and there are tags listed on the page; for example - "scuba" As a user I would be interested in seeing what other scuba related wiki pages are out there... because we can't rely on the wiki editor to link to every scuba related page within the wiki. I believe you asked about searching? Using tags to help aid a wiki page search? I wouldn't go in that direction. For the same reason Google doesn't use meta tags to index web pages. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Far McKon" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, January 23, 2007 10:58 PM Subject: Re: [Sycamore-Dev] Tags Macro beta > Tags cont... > > Thanks for testing and breaking things for the tags beta .
