Yeah, the machine I was on is a window box. Oddly enough, that command I cut and pasted into the e-mail worked about 1/2 hour later, and it stopped wanting to grab a password (I still used --username, and didn't check if that was optional).
I then ran into problems with commit, and the error also cites "403 Forbidden" as part of the error. Adam was on at the same time, and committed something, so it didn't seem to be devja screwing up.
