Hi, I managed to get the "index" standalone HTTP server working on windows. The only problem I had was with the serving of static files. I've attached a patch that makes this work. It should be os agnostic now, but I don't have a linux system to play with, so I couldn't test.
That favicon still doesn't show... but that seems to be another issue. I tried to submit this on Devjavu, but ticket submission seems to be disabled. That site also doesn't hide email addresses, yet. Cheers, Steve
