Trunk is the latest 'stable'/supported code. Wikis is the branch
running the WikiSpot service, but as far as I know the code in Trac
is unusable (Philip hasn't committed all his fixes). At some point
Philip plans to merge all the Wikis branch changes into Trunk.
Sapling is a devlopment branch that we are working on with a few
specific goals (http://www.projectsycamore.org/Development/
sapling_branch/Organized_Development).

Most of Sycamore's development up to this point has been done by
Philip to meet the specific application requirements of DavisWiki/
RocWiki et al and now WikiSpot. A small community of Sycamore users
are starting to develop system functionality with the hope to make
Sycamore suitable for more general wiki applications. The Sapling
branch is the de facto branch for this development activity.
