IMAGES AND INTENTIONANLITY

Sydney, 8th August 2008

A conference on the interconnections between pictorial and mental
representation. The conference will address issues such as whether the
structure of thought is language-like or map-like, whether mental content
is mediated by resemblance or causation, whether differences between
perception and thought are like differences between depiction and
description and the debate over mental images.

The conference will be held in the RAIA Auditorium at the Tusculum
mansion, 3 Manning St, Potts Point.
