Call for Papers – Philosophy of New Religion: An Analytical Study of New and
Alternative Religious Movements.
We are soliciting papers, in the analytical tradition, to be included in a
collection on new and alternative religious movements. Each paper should offer
both a brief outline of a movement and a philosophical analysis of one or more
of its core tenets.
Examples of suitable movements for study include (but are not limited to):
Scientology, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormonism),
Raelianism, Wicca, The Exclusive Brethren, Digitalism, Satanism,
Rastafarianism, The Sathya Sai Baba movement, and Christian Science.
Interested parties should email ([email protected]) an abstract (200 -400
words) of their proposed paper, along with their C.V by April the 30th.
