David Harold Tribe Philosophy Award 2009
Closing date: Friday 11 December 2009 at 4pm The aim of the David Harold Tribe Philosophy Award is to promote interest in philosophy, ethics, economics or politics and to help persons in those fields to further their education in those fields, enabling them to develop their insights and to advance the general public's understanding of philosophy. The award, valued at $12,000, is for the best work of a theoretical nature displaying original thought on philosophy, ethics, economics or politics of seventy thousand (70,000) words or more submitted to the judging panel.
