Agnes Heller is one of the world’s leading philosophers. Situated in the critical theory tradition, her highly original work traverses, amongst other areas, ethics, philosophical anthropology, political philosophy and theories of modernity. She is Professor Emerita in Philosophy at the New School (New York) and member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
