Hi Marco, Openlazsio is an approach close to XUL. It is a XML syntax for
creating rich goog looking application (they also provide a very nice
WYSIWYG editor for eclipse IDE). But this is just the "frontend" it then
ask XML data to be populated (specialy in flash mode), then any server
side can fit. Then demo run on J2EE/tomcat server but you can imagine
running your symfony app and configure your views to output XML data to
you openlazsio frontend ...

I don't rally see the "integration" point here ? it is just a matter of
creating the right view and maybe a filter to catch openlaszlo request ...

Thank Benoit for your attention.
So, if i understand, you think that a real integration isn't possible but it is possible to create a sort of comunication between this two framework. Is it correct?
it could be like this:

  1. symfony action instead of creating a correspondent template creates a XML file for openlaszlo
  2. at the end of the action i "redirect" (maybe changing sfView ?) to openlaszlo that reads the XML file and create the correspondent output
  3. everything called by openlaszlo must be redirected to my symfony app.
I think that anyone has tried to do this.
I'm not an expert php developer an so it's difficult to deeply understand symfony architecture, but if you think that it could be interesting to study this kind of cooperation i can contribute but i need an help.
I think that cooperation between this two framework can be very interesting also because i think that there isn't nothing like this.

Thank you.
