Our application used to show the following error: "sfForwardException message: Too many forwards have been detected for this request (> 5)"
The symfony patch reported at http://www.symfony-project.com/trac/ticket/1061 (applied to /usr/share/pear/symfony/filter/sfBasicSecurityFilter.class.php) solved the problem. After symfony 1.0 beta2 upgrade, we reapplied the same patch and the problem persists. The issue was also reported at http://www.symfony-project.com/forum/index.php/m/13912/?srch=secure_module#msg_13912 Fabien set this ticket as invalid originally, but the proposed patch had solved our problem.
