[symfony-devs] Pear problems — Not installing plug ins

I'm using MAC OS X 10.4.9 and got this problem

symfony plugin-install http://plugins.symfony-project.com/ sfGuardPlugin

Any one knows where the problem with the PEAR is? What to make to have the path correct?
