I realize that symfony forge is in the works, but for the near term. Some of us were discussing creating a plugins/experimental folder as a near term solution for plugins that are of very little use for public consumption.
It'd be nice for some people to put up half-ready plugins, but leaving the root of the plugins folder free for plugins that work.
