Hello, Recently I've noticed some work being done on routing system in routing branch by fabien and francois.
I'd like to ask what is your opinion on external routing rules in symfony (rules that would point to external urls). This kind of rule would have an absolute url in it and maybe also a set of parameters like internal rules. In my opinion it would be useful for transferring old sites to symfony before rewriting all the code base of old site. You could use "link_to" helper with a rule's label and after you have rewritten the old site to symfony you would just change the routing rule to match the new symfony's module/action pair without the need to rewrite templates.
