It is. sfCache uses a id to identify an cache entry. (Sometimes with
other caching systems this is refered to as key).
Simply make up your id from the values of that POST/GET params that
impact the actions behavior.
you can also use a namespace apart from the default one to distinguish
different request.
Make sure your id+namespace combination is unique and always the same
for each different request and you're done.
If all your calculation are made up from a single method/function call
then take a look at the sfFunctionCache which will simply cache each
different call to a specifiy method/function.
