Sounds interesting,
im developing symfony sites in eclipse (PDT) for some time now.
Although i have not much knowledge in java and specially in eclipse
plugin development,
the tools (code-templates, auto-complete, command line tools etc) that
it provides are enough to create a custom symfony mini-RAD enviroment.
The only thing that i haven't found yet is a good yml editor.
