As I know you can use the command -freeze on your local
development.This command copies all need and important files to your
project. After that you can load the complete project to your host.
Don't forget to clear cache before you copy it.

Then if you point your url to the web-dir on the right file it should work.

You can find the command in the book chapter 16 like Frank mentioned before :-)
