I want to be active in Symfony development and I am working on a project using Symfony and I had to use a lot of the "more advanced" stuff thus finding problems, ways to improve them, etc but I have a problem with how to contribute back to the project. It is nice that Fabien can do so much but Rihad has a good point that one-man-show does not work well. Fabien had a recent email in the development list saying that people should help with reviewing tickets, fixing them... but what is the established procedure for that? People also beg in the dev list to have their patch finally committed to the core. That is not the way to have these problems fixed as soon as possible.
What I am saying is that there must be a way for people like me to contribute easier! I have been reading and replying to people on both lists and I am pretty up to date with what is going on and still have no idea how to proceed, what about the others? My last email to Fabien left unanswered so I hope at least this one will get some time from him or the others responsible.
