To answer this part of the question... Many parts of sfDoctrinePlugin are now part of doctrine core, which means that technically the correct place to discuss such issues are on the doctrine-dev mailing list. It is far for users to understand what belongs where at the moment, and some work needs doing to help users report bugs in the right place. Having said this, the Developers [1] of sfDoctrinePlugin do keep an eye on this mailing list, and the symfony ticket system (as you can tell, as the problem was fixed almost instantly for you!) We appreciate your help, and should you wish to contribute, please do feel free to join the doctrine-dev list, and should you have patches that need committing, we're happy to help, and give SVN access to those deserving of it.
