I am the maintainer for both sfDoctrinePlugin 1.0 and 1.1 branches. 1.1branch is completely unusable and it should not be used. Initially I wrote it for an earlier 1.1 revision and 1.1 has changed a few times breaking sfDoctrinePlugin1.1 so I decided to put a note on the wiki to not use 1.1and I would wait until symfony 1.1 comes out. Once symfony 1.1 is officially released, I will do a fresh port of sfDoctrinePlugin 1.0 to 1.1 and people will be able to use Doctrine with symfony 1.1. Until then you should continue using sfDoctrinePlugin 1.0and symfony 1.0.
