I only saw your plugin after I'd finished mine - I've had it sitting here for a while and you only linked sfModerationPlugin into the list two weeks ago! Certainly I'd be happy to merge the functionality but for me the method of approval was more important than levels of spam tagging.
I hope symfony forge will solve all problems like this and provide a better way to know what plugins people are working on without having to look through the repository!
