Joe, There are tons of Propel features that are not documented in the symfony book. For a good reason: Propel is a third-party project, with a documentation of its own. We tried to propose an introduction to Propel in the symfony book, and you can find a lot of supplementary documentation in the Snippets repository, in the wiki, and in the symfony cookbook.
May I suggest that you create a wiki page about getters on multiple foreign keys to a single table, and that you document the feature there ?
