why, will dig into the code today.

  This is for sure the same issue. Though, Ian, the cache grind that we were 
looking at the other day was infact not the right cache grind. The right cache 
grinds for the requests that take 10-15 seconds are 30+ MB in size. You can 
snag the cache grind from the link below.

    Jon Wage was complaining of similar - can you upload a cachegrind file?
