But notice that this doesn't give information like _SERVER output, or 
display of all Database queries.  These pieces of information (and the 
other information that the dev toolbar outputs) need to be protected, 
and this solution does that.  I don't think the goal here was to 
completely hide symfony.

This I agree with, but as mentioned in some of these threads, people who 
know better will figure it out.
