Hi all,

With two days of rethinking the results of the symfony camp (damp?)
2008 I would like to announce the birth of a new symfony group
'symfony-cms'.

http://groups.google.com/group/symfony-cms

I had quite a few good chats during the camp in many of which the
issue of symfony developers lacking a good and thorough CMS was
immanent. I have heard of so many people implementing their own
solution for their client and of course nobody felt able to provide
anything as open source.

So basically we agreed in one of those discussions to start a new user
group on this issue with the aim to define all requirements of a CMS
build on symfony. The ultimate goal of course would be an
implementation of this CMS but for starters I think we should get the
requirement specifications ready which is going to be long process in
itself.

So for anyone interested in this topic please join the discussions at
http://groups.google.com/group/symfony-cms and help us in defining
what a symfony CMS should be like. Anyone is welcome!

Cheers
/Christian
