Once again, I would like to receive some feedback about the development of the new admin generator. After our sprint and a short discussion at the symfony camp, I have set up a few use cases which the new generator should be able to fulfill. You can find these use cases at http://trac.symfony-project.org/wiki/Symfony12AdminGenerator I was very impressed about Francois' presentation about Documentation Driven Design. Likewise, I would like to find a decent API for the new admin generator first before actually implementing it. Please take your time, read the use cases and give your feedback on the sample implementations (of which there still are very few). I would also appreciate if you would add your own use cases, but please consider that we will only be able to implement very crucial functionality for the 1.2 release. If you think your use case will affect the API design though in any way, feel free to add it. Note that the API suggestions still are very few since I am waiting for Fabien's feedback before going into more detail.
