Hey guys,
I've been getting a few emails recently about the state of sfSearch, so
here's a message to all that's interested:
1) No, I do not plan on stopping development entirely on the plugin.
Unfortunately, I had to put it on the back-burner for a few weeks to
take care of other matters.
2) Everybody is welcome to contribute. Feel free to create your own
branch and commit your changes there. We can review these changes
together and merge to the trunk. Some things that need to be done:
a) Doctrine support
b) i18n support
c) Debug parsers
d) Solr and Xapian support
When committing, make sure the unit tests pass. Do not commit directly
to trunk - commit to a branch first.
3) Due to my delays, the plugin will be moving to symfony 1.2 only
eventually.
Hope all is well,
Carl
