Hi all, I would like to call on the community for the preparation of a new talk I will be giving. The talk has been accepted into the PHPCon Italy. The name of the talk is "Myphp-busters: symfony framework". In this talk I will be busting some myths about symfony. For instance, that symfony is slow, that you only do configuration, that it is extremely coupled, etc.
However, I am sure that there are more myths out there that I haven't encountered yet or have forgotten about. So feel free to (preferably off-list) send me any experience you have with people who didn't like symfony without really knowing what symfony is. I want prejudices and urban legends about our beloved frameworks that I can defuse and clear up for those present. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me in this, and I look forward to your responses.
